Even though they are twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley are extremely different.  It seems like Mary-Kate was the one who made the first big changes.  She dyed her brown, and recently she has dyed it again and it is a lighter version of what it used to be.

In early 2005, she suffered from anorexia, but luckily she recovered without doing to much damage to herself.  Mary-Kate enjoys doing and going to yoga classes.  She enjoys horseback riding also.  In fact, when her and Ashley stared on “Two of a Kind” she played the character who loved to ride horses.  Mary-Kate loves shopping, and don’t forget about listening to music, just like Ashley.

Mary-Kate was nominated for an Emmy, for “Daytime Emmy Award”, but unfortunately she did not win, she lost to the host of the former show “Reading Rainbow”  But she did achieve the role of being the first teen ever nominated for the position.  Mary-Kate’s mother commented that when the played on “Full House” Mary-Kate would always do the more serious roles.  That obviously shows she is more of a serious person that her sister Ashley.  Mary-Kate and Ashley are extremely different, and as they have gotten older it seems like Mary-Kate wanted to let her own self shine, and not her and her sister together for once in her life.
