At three months old, the Olsen’s played “Michelle” on the hit series “Full House.” The TV show started in 1986 and ended in 1995. By the time they were five, Mary-Kate and Ashley were two of the most popular television performers.

Full House is probably the largest reason that they are so famous. To obey the Child Labor Loss, the producers of Full house switched off the Olsens playing Michelle. In the first season they did not want Michelle credited as both girls so they would post their names as “Mary Kate Ashley Olsen.” |

The girls were extra close with “Uncle Jesse” or John Stamos, off and on the set, and still are today. “You got it dude” was their catch fraise during the taping. The first season brought in $2,400 for each. By the last season they each earned 80,000 dollars! |  |

In 1998 “Two of a Kind” was one very well known TV series that Mary-Kate and Ashley stared in. Another is “So Little Time”. Some well known movies are “It Takes Two”, “Passport to Paris”, and the most recent “New York Minute.” The Olsen’s also have 169 books. When they were young they wrote many books based on some of the movies they did. They also have their own line of clothing. Plus they have their own line of room accessories. |  |
