On June 13, the 1986 Ashley Olsen entered the world. Three minutes later her twin sister Mary-Kate was born. The moment they saw them, David and Jarnette new their daughters were born for acting.

| Although they were born on Friday the 13th, neither them, nor the career had bad luck. By the time they were three months old they got to leave their home in Sherman Oaks, California to go to Hollywood! They got to experience being in front of a camera so much, it came natural when they were older. The first acting career was on “Full House.” Off the set they would call their cast members by their characters name, that way they wouldn’t mess up when they were being taped. |  |

Mary-Kate and Ashley look identical but surprisingly they are fraternal. Ashley is two inches taller than Mary-Kate. Mary-Kate and Ashley were the biggest child stars since Shirley Temple in the 80’s and 90’s. By the time they hit seven in 1993, they were known as the youngest ever producers. They were also youngest self-millionaire. The Olsen’s parent divorced when they were younger. They have an older brother Trent. They also have a step-mom Mackenzie, and a step-sister Taylor and a brother Jake. They currently live in California now with the mom. |  |
