!*Siamese*!

Siamese cats have a very different, exciting, incredible history.  In Siam (Thailand) Siamese cats were only owned by the Kings and royal family in Siam.  They were sacred stems to them.  They came to the United States in the 1890’s.  Siamese cats love to have visitors in their home.  If you are affectionate and give them attention, they will be a dedicated companion.  They can be jealous of other cats though.  They can also be put on a leash, few cats can do that.  There personalities change almost everyday, depending on their mood.  There are only 4 breeds of Siamese cats.  Their fur is short and very soft.  The body is thin and slender, with long, thin legs and small, egg-shaped paws.  The head is large and triangular, with medium-sized, almond-shaped eyes that are slanted; it has a pointed muzzle.  The ears are large and point at the tips.  They need daily brushing with a medium-hard brush to remove any dead hairs.  They need a certain diet to keep healthy.  An exclusively meat diet tends to damage the light colors of the coat, so fish and cooked vegetables should be used alternatively with meat.  Vitamins are also healthy for them.  That is some information about the Siamese cat.
