Russian Blues are one breed of cats.  The breed originated in the Russian Port city of Archangel and was brought into Great Britain in the 1800’s.  The Russian Blue is very quiet and shy, and does best living with people that share those similar traits.  They love to show their affection and please their owners.  They prefer to be inside most of the time and to be warm.  The fur of the Russian Blue can be gray shades, and blue-gray color that gave it their name, and the very rare white variety.  There body is long, slender and muscular, with a long tail.  There legs are thin, with small round paws.  The head is egg shaped with a medium sized nose, well-developed muzzle, and medium-sized oval eyes.  The ears are large and rounded at the tips, with skin that is almost transparent.  They like to be cared for a lot.  They like being brushed regularly and should be upright and not flat.  They need a varied diet including meat, giblets and cooked vegetables.  That is some information about the Russian Blue cats.
