There are many different rules in the game. First, there is the playing field. There is a box on each side of the field called the restraining box. Both attack and defense have to stay inside this box until the referee calls “Possession”. After the ref calls possession you can go anywhere until mid-field.

There are two different types of fouls, personal and technical. Some personal fouls include; slashing, tripping, cross checking, unsportsmanlike conduct, unnecessary roughness, and illegal body check
Slashing is when you take your stick and hit a player anywhere other than his hand or stick. Cross checking is when a player checks with the shaft of the stick. Another penalty is and illegal body check. An illegal body check is when you hit a player when he doesn’t have the ball or when you hit below the waist. Technical fouls include arguing with the referee and taunting. |
