Helmet A helmet is the most important piece of equipment. A helmet is usually make of hard plastic for the shell, visor, and chin. Then the facemask is made of hard steel. If you want to put in extra money you can get a titanium facemask. |

Shoulder Pads Shoulder pads are also one of the most important pieces of equipment. They are important because the upper chest and shoulder are where you get hit the most. They are usually made of hard plastic and padding. |

Gloves Gloves must be worn at all times during the game. You must wear them because you get hit in the hands a lot. There are a few different brands of gloves. Brands such as Brine, STX, Warrior, and DeBeer. They are a lot like hockey gloves. There very heavily padded and cover you wrists. |

Arm Guards Arm Guards are important but not as important as everything else. They aren’t required in youth lacrosse. So you don’t have to wear them during a game. If you don’t want to wear them then you can buy elbow pads. Their usually made of just padding.
