Attacks main porouse is to score the goals.  they set up the plays and have to cooperate with ten midfield well.  The attack has to stay behind the midfield line at all times.  Once the ball goes over the midfield line the attack usually scores.

The defenses main goal is to get the ball off the attack and pass it down the field to their attack to score.  They have a longer pole than most players.  They also can not go past the midfield line unless a midfielder stays back.  

The midfield take the face off to start the game and after every goal.  They can also go all over the whole field.  They assist the defense on defending and the attack on attacking.  

The goalies job is to defend the goal against the attack and middies.  He defends in front of a six foot by a six foot goal.  they use a bigger head than most sticks.  they can block most shots they can see.
