Slashing is when a player uses his or her stick to hit the other player very hard. This is a personal foul and will get that player two minutes in the box. 

Tripping is illegal. It is when a opponent either trips someone with their stick or their foot. This is a personal foul and will result in one minute in the box. 

A push from behind can be very dangerous. It will result in two minutes in the box and is a personal foul. This is when an opponent pushes another player in the back when they have the ball or is going to get it. 

If the top of the ball is below the bottom of the head it is illegal. This will result in a stick suspension which means you could not use that stick for that game, you have to get another one.

If the gloves that you are planning on wearing has holes in the palms of them, they will be suspended for the game and you will have to use another pair. 

A cross check is when a player hits another player with his stick bar without having his hands together. This is a personal foul and the player will get you two minutes in the box.

Un-sportsman-like Conduct is when you purposely hit or mouth-off to the referee. and this can get you thrown out of the game or a one game suspension.
