The 2005 Duke Blue Devils had a great season despite their loss to Michigan State in the elite eight. Throughout the whole year the Duke Blue Devils remained top competitors in the ACC.
Duke Started off the season great winning their 1st 15 games. Through 20 games Duke had 2 loses. They one some big games this year and also lost some too. Duke lost to unranked Maryland twice in the regular season.

Dukes star players and team leading scorer J.J. Reddick ended up the season being 2nd leading scorer in the NCAA. Reddick won NCAA player of the year and he is only a junior.
Another one of Dukes top players is Sheldon Williams. Williams was Dukes leader in rebounds. Beside his team he lead the whole ACC in rebounds and blocked shots.
