| Boxing is a test of toughness, fearlessness, and strength. Boxing has been in the Olympic Games since 688 B.C. There are very few people who are tough enough to face the best or to face the strongest. Boxing is easy to learn but hard to fight. In professional bouts each round lasts three minutes; in amateur bouts, two minutes, and a boxer has that time to KO or Knock Out the other boxer. A one-minute rest period between rounds is standard. If the other boxer knocks down the other boxer three times in one round its called a TKO or Triple Knock Out. All boxers have to train themselves to become a better boxer and less chance of injuries. | |
