		Nirvana is made of 3 people. The lead singer Kurt Cobain was born is 1967 and unfortunately died in 1994 due to a tragic drug overdose. Chad Channing (drums) and Dave Grohl (b.1969). Dave was added after Krist Novaselic (bass) left the band.
		Nirvana's first album came out in 1989. Its name was bleach. Its did not sell as well as it could have. Nirvana was still well known. The first singe was "love Beze/Big Cheese. It was considered in the untuned metal, drunk punk.
		The first Guitarist Chad Channing left the band right after Bleach European tour. Dave Grohl replaced him. He brought a new look to the trio. Nirvana then got a secure contract with Geffen Records They started to record their second album.
		Their second album's name was Nevermind. Its the fist single was "Smells Like Teen Sprit". The song reached number 1 in the U.S. and in the U.K. It was a teen anthem for everyone. Kurt said is was weird to them selves on MTV. They took time to record Nevermind. Its was also a lot more costly compared to Bleach. Bleach was recorded in 3 days for $300

		Early 1992 Kurt Cobain married Courtney Love. They struggled thought out the marriage. Kurt tried to kill himself once before. After a bad fight with Courtney he locked him self in a room with bullets a gun and a lethal dosage of drugs. Courtney called the police and they came just in time. Courtney and Kurt had one kid named Francis Bean Cobain.
		Nirvana then went into the studio again to record their Third album album. It was name In Utero. It was produced by Steve Albani. Kurt's drug use and the press made this album harder to record. It did not take off hoe Nevermind did. Their 2 Singles were "All Apologies" and "Rape Me"
		Kurt's Descent into Self-destruction accelerated in 1994. Then on April 5th 1994. Kurt Cobain committed suicide. He shot himself and found with 20 times the lethal dosage of heroin in him. He was cremated and ashes spread in the ocean. Courtney couldn't bury him because no one wanted him at the their graveyard because of fear of vandalism. Dave Grohl later went to join the band The Foo Fighters.
