Their first drummers name was Kiff Meyer. He booked the first national tour. But left right after that to concentrate on collage. Tre Cool filled in for him. He wrote the song " Dominated Love song" that later made it onto the CD "Kerplunk!" | |

Kerpunk! sold over 50,000 records. They then signed to Rob Cavallo Produced their 3rd album was Dookie. It sold over 9 million copies in the U.S. Its was amazing. The album 2 main singles were Longview and welcome to Paradise. |

They made appearances on 19994 Lallapalooza package and Woodstock. Later that year Insomniac was released. There weren't any particularly great songs on there. In 1995 Insomniac sold over 10 million copies. | |

Last year (2004) American Idiot was released. It so far has 3 singles: American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken dreams, and Holiday. Holiday is a prequel to Bulevarde of Broken dreams. Its a different album than all the rest . Its much more serous. |
