1991 was a glorious year for Pittsburgh Penguin. They won the
Stanley Cup. The Penguins have never won a championship before that. So to
win this particular game, the penguins had to acquire some of the top notch
players. |

These
players include goal tender Tom Borrasso, winger Kevin Stevens,
defensiveman Gordie Roberts, and center Jaromir Jargr. |

When
the final buzzard rang. Mario Lemuex jumped out of the box and victory lap
around the ring for him, his fans, and his teammates. Pittsburgh is
located in the rolling hills of steelmillingcounty of western Pa. The
Penguins play in the Civic arena. This arena is called "the
igloo." |

The
penguins joined the NHL league in 1967-68. Pittsburgh did not have a
winning in the early seven years. Still the fans had several star players
to applaud. |

By
the 1974-75 season the Penguins has become a force in the NHL's Norris
Division, and were noted for there wide open style of offensive hockey. |

record ever. |

the Penguins prepared for a strong run in the playoffs and won with
