First

close spaces and use the creases to her advantage. They're
responsible for scoring. They must continually cut toward the goal
for a shot, or cut away from the goal to make room for another player.
Second Home is with dynamic attack players with great skills. they are often the attacks leader or playmaker. Must be able to receive and get open to shoot or pass the ball. |
|
Third Home must be a well rounded attack player with strong ball and shooting techniques. They need to be able to recognize and anticipate to move to open spacing for other players. Right and Left Attack Wings are the players that the center try to get the ball to on the draw. These players are the fastest. They need good decision making ability, and must be strong passers and scorers. |
| The attack side
are very important to the team because they are the one's that the team
relies on to get points to win.
The Defense: The Goalkeeper uses her stick and body to prevent the ball from crossing the goal line. Most definitely they need good foot work, body positioning, and the ability to cover the angles of shots; quick reflexes; concentration and gumptton. Also confidence and courage. |
