Ryan Cabrera

Ryan Cabrera was born and raised in Dallas Texas. At a very young age Ryan began writingand playing guitar.

While still in highschool he opened and headlined at numerous premires venues in Dallas. Ryan opened for such bandas as Sister Hazel, Nine days, Wheatus, Deter Freebish, and the Patmcbee Band.

Ryan was also involved in threee highschool bands in Dallas, he says he had a ton of fans just in highschool.

One other thing that was cool about him in highschool is that his best friend was Ashlee simpson, they are still very close. Ryan is also a very good friend to the simpson family! After highschool he went to collage for a few years to work in the music industry.

After and while he was even in collage he continued to write and play his own music. He didnt have much time since all the classes but music was so important to him he squeezed it in.

Then, last year Cabrera moved to LA. Ryan CAbrera landed a deal with EMI music Publishing.

He also got a contract on EVLA/Atlantic records shortly after. He began writing some songs for his album with high profil EMI writers such as Guy Chambers, Kara Dioguardi, Jimmy Harry and John Rzeznik.

a Ryan wanted his songs to be about his friends and his life. His first singel was called On the way Down. That song becmae very popular and went to the top 40 in just a week. The music video for it had Ashlee simpson in it and it was a very big hit.

After the video they started to date. They went on and off since they were both so busy it wasnt very easy to see each other. Right now Ryan and Ashlee are currently dateing.

Ryans manager is Joe Simpson, fater of Jesssica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson. Ryans CD is now very popular. He did an opening act for Jewel and Jessica Simpson. He is hopeign to make another cd and do some more opening acts.

Ryan is currently on tour with two other girl singers. He will be gonig all over the united states. If you want to see some of Ryans life you can always see him on the ashlee simpson show on MTV!
