JoJo

		Joanne Levesque was born in 1990, in the outskirts of Bosten, Massachusetts. Her parents split up before she was even born.
		Joanne's mother Diane would always we danceing and singing all around the house. Her mother was a church soloist and a trained musical theater performer. Joanne would alway watch her mother and she really loved singing at a young age.
		Joanne had a nickname, it was JoJo. Every one would always call her JoJo. JoJo and her mother were very poor.
		They lived in a old rundown one bedroom apartment and she had a free lunch program at school.
		Eager to perform JoJo found her first big break on CBS Kids Say The Darngest Things,hosted by Bill Cosby.
		She sang RESPECT by Areta Franklin. The cround just loved her and even bill thought she was an execellent singer! Soon after she got a phone call from Oprah herself asking JoJo to come and sing on her show.
		Very excited jojo went and sang. After that thing jsut started to happen. She did talk shows, music festivals, singing all over Bosten.
		But dont think JoJo's life was all good, besides being the poorest person in her town, she also got made fun of by all the girls at her school. In 2001 she sang live in NYC where she brought down the house.
		While singing on AMericans most talented children, JoJo was noticed by a man in the audience. The man introduced himself and then introduced JojJo to Vincent Herbert, who owns a recording compant called De Family Entertainment.
		JoJo decided she brather work with Barry Hankerson and his label, Backround Records. She then spent four months recording tracks for her self debut in Miami and LA.
		She also got to work with many famous producers. Jojo wrote three songs herself. Her cd later was released in the summer of 2004.
		JoJo became very very famous and tons of teenage girls like her. Her cd later became platium. Now jojo is being homeschooled since she is so busy. Her mother and her are now living in La and will soon be touring all over the united states.
