Olsen was on born on June 13,1986. Two minutes later her fraternal twin
sister Mary-Kate was born. Mary-Kate and Ashley were born in Sherman Oaks,
California. The girls have an older brother Trent and a younger sister
Elizabeth(Lizzie). David and Jarnie Olsen are the girls parents. But when
they were only 6 years old their parents split. Mary-Kate and Ashley are
some of the most powerful people in Hollywood. They are self made
multi-millionaires. |

Mary-Kate
and Ashley's career began when on of their mother's friends told Jarnie
Olsen about an audition for a new TV series call "Full House".
At the audition Mary-Kate and Ashley were the only babies that did not cry
or fuss and they snagged the part of Michelle Tanner. Some of the other
people casted for "Full House" were John Stamos and Bob Sagget.
When Full House ended in 1994 people thought the girl's career would have
ended, but from that point on their careers sky rocketed. |

the age of 6 the girls bought the production company "Dulstar
Entertainment." As the girls got older their careers kept
getting bigger. Some projects are music albums, popular home videos,
and a book series. After Full House they also had two more TV
series, Two Of A Kind and So Little Time. They also have made tons
of movies like Billboard Dad, Getting There, and their most recent one,
New York Minute. |

Some
of the other projects the girls have are the Mary-Kate and Ashley clothing
line for kids, fragrances, toys, and video games. Even though the
girls owned a huge company like Dulstar they weren't allowed to touch a
dime of it until June 13, 2004 when they officially turned 18 and became
adults. They were like any other kid. Their parents only gave
them an allowance of $10 a week. They also went to regular public
schools grades K-12. The girls were upset because they missed their
prom because they were taping SNL. |

girls are now attending New York City University. They are living in
a Manhattan apartment. Recently, Mary-Kate has been treated for
anorexia at a Utah recovery center. Ashley visited her as much as
she could. Ashley also sued a magazine for 40 million dollars for
saying she was on drugs. |

Some
of the girls' interests are acting, singing, shopping, watching MTV,
dancing, and playing basketball. When the girls were young their
brother and sister got to appear in some of their home videos.
Mary-Kate and Ashley are best friends. Even though they are twins
some things aren't the same. Mary-Kate is left-handed and more
outgoing. Ashley is right-handed and less outgoing. These
girls are self-made millionaires and some of the most powerful women in
