| Metallica, I believe, is the greatest band of all time. They got off to a rough start, with their first CD, Kill'em all, which was basically crap. It was death metal, but even death metal fans hated it. |

Metallica's second CD, Master of Puppets, shot off their career because, in my opinion, it is the best CD of all time. Metallica's career shot off with world tours and became extremely well known, even my science book talked about them. | |

Since then Metallica has made many CD's including: ...And Justice for All and Ride The Lightining. Unfortunatly During their Ride the Lightning tour, their tour bus got involved in an accident and killed their bassist, Cliff Burton. They replaced them with James Newfeild before they released their next CD, Black Album. |
| Unfortunately metallica ended their career sometime in the 1990's which lead to many angry fans. Metallica is attempting to return, but their music is a lot softer and is disappointing metallica fans everywhere. Metallica's time is over, but their old music will never die. If I had to pick a favorite song I don't think that I could because they are all good and every time I think I have a favorite a different song takes it's place. |

| The band consists of four people, a drummer, a lead guitarist, a Bassist and back up vocals, and a rhythm guitar and lead singer. Their drummer is Lars Ulrich, their Bassist is Cliff Burton, Their lead Guitarist is Kirk Hammet, and their lead singer is James Hetfield. |
