Born into this world on December 10, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, from the parents of Christopher and Lydia came Raven-Symone Christina Pearman.  She also has a brother Blaize.  In high school, she was the captain of the step team and graduated in 2003.  This spicy, Sagittarius has a dog named Zar.  Her favorite color is black. Her favorite T.V. show is Comedy Central's South Park.  Her favorite designer is Prada. Her favorite band is 112.  She is currently 5'6" and 20 years old. She also shares an apartment with her best friend Lindsay Lohan.

Raven plays a starring role as Raven Baxter in Disney Channel's That's So Raven.  In fact, she won the KCA award for Best Television Actress in 2004 for That's So Raven.  Another movie she was in, The Cheetah Girls, was delayed for shooting because Raven was doing such a great job on her T.V. show That's So Raven, that she didn't want to leave it.

Other shows/movies she appeared in were Kim Possible, The Cosby Show, Star Search, Dr. Dolittle 2, The Little Rascals, Fat Albert, Live with Regis and Kelly, and TRL.

Raven started out singing young and had the albums "Here's to New Dreams," in 1989, and "Undeniable," in 1999.  But they weren't very popular.  Now Raven has the That's So Raven Soundtrack.  She also has the album "This Is My Time," which has her single, "Backflip," on it.

On her CD "Here's To New Dreams," her first single was "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of," and it was written by Missy Elliott.  Raven was only five years old when she sang that.

Raven keeps becoming more popular as people enjoy her shows, her albums, and just her!

She is so inspiring to people because of her image and her being herself.  She says, "Being beautiful is not being like everybody else...I am not a pinkie-thin blond thing and I never will be.  I'm me."
