| His whole life, he was surrounded by music. His father was a professional sax player and his mother was a professional singer. He is very showy on the stage and he loves to smash his guitars for the fans. His signature move on the guitar was called the windmill. He would swing his arms in the motion of a windmill. Sometimes he did the windmill numerous times and his fingers started to bleed. Pete is a very good musician and he will remain to be. |

| Pete Townshend sometimes convinced John entwistle to play the lead so that he could run around the stage and go crazy. Pete and Roger always nake their concerts very showy and fun to be at. The Who will remain to be a great band and Pete will always be one of the ultimate guitar players. |
