	Violet Baudelaire is 14. She has 2 younger siblings named Klaus and Sunny. She's an inventor. She also has a red ribbon in her hair when she's thinking hard. She loves to work on devices. She is also the tallest of her siblings.
Klaus Baudelaire is 12. He has an older and younger sibling. He loves to read and research. He wears glasses. He is usually always found with a book. Klaus is the second tallest of his siblings.
	Sunny Baudelaire is a baby. She loves to bite in things. She in later books becomes a cook. The way she talks only her older siblings can understand her.
It is never really told how old he is. He is and actor and a murderer. He has one eyebrow and a tattoo of an eye on his ankle. He loves to make the Baudelaire's suffer.
	Isadora Quagmire is about the same age as violet(14). She always carries a black notebook. She loves to write poems. She is a triplet. Her one brother Quigley has been lost to her. She thinks he's dead like her parents.
Duncan is also about 14. He is a journalist. He always carries a dark green notebook. He is always taking notes.
	Carmelita Spats is rude, violent, and filthy. She hates orphans. She calls all people she doesn't like cakesniffers. She also becomes Olaf and Esmé's sort of kid.
Esmé Squalor is very concerned with what is "in" and what's not. She will do anything to get something that's in. She is a tall slender women with long fingernails.

	Quigley Quagmire is the last Quagmire triplet. he is about 14 too. He has a purple notebook. He also had a private moment with Violet Baudelaire. Mr. Snicket does not write about it.
Mr. Poe is middle aged. He is a banker who is in charge of the Baudelaire fortune and guardianship. He is always coughing into a handkerchief. He doesn't really help the Baudelaire's at all.
