Eric Forman (Topher Grace) is the main character in this comedy series. Eric is a nice guy who wants to hang out with his friends in his basement or party at local dance clubs. Eric, is called "Forman" by his friends. Eric is recently engaged to Donna. This causes problems on the show because their parents do not approve. 

Red (Kurtwood Smith) is Eric's Father. His only friend is Donna's Father, Bob. Although Red doesn't really like Bob, but Kitty, makes him be friendly to him. Red is a hard person to get along with and please. On the show, he has recently lost his job, and struggling to find a new one. 

Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) is Eric's mother. She is a humble wife and very sweet. She mainly does the housework. Kitty is also in denial about her "Baby boy" growing up and not needing her as much for things. On the show, she is caught up with housing Steve Hyde, because his mother has abandoned him.

Laurie Forman (Lisa Robin Kelly) is Eric's older sister. She is very stuck up and expects everyone to do everything for her when she comes home from college, on some weekends. When she comes home, her and Kelso usually hook up, causing Kelso to cheat on Jackie many times. Although Jackie knows that he does this she doesn't care and loves him anyway. Jackie also acts so innocent and sweet around her parents and they couldn't be prouder.
