Johnny Depp has been in many movies, from the suave Captian Jack to the creepy Edward Scissorhands. One of his most successful films would have to be "Pirates of the Caribbean." He played Captian Jack Sparrow, the debonair pirate who went searching for the coveted ship, The Black Pearl. During an interview he stated that he wanted his image in the movie to be as unbathed looking as possible, and he surely accomplished that. During the movie Depp is a nasty, dirty, vulgar captain who plans rescue the governors daughter, so that he may once again rule The Black Pearl. |
| Depp has been in many other great movies too. Like in 1984 he made his first film "A Nightmare on Elm Street." This movie is what brought him away from music and into acting. Two of his first really famous films were both made in 1990. First was " Cry Baby" then he made "Edward Scissorhands." That's when he hit it big. But that's only the start. |  |

Recently he has made more adult related movies. In 1999 he made "Sleepy Hollow." He played Ichabod Crane. Then in 2000 he made the movie "Chocolat." A tasty treat for those who liked him and romantic comedies. The in 2003 he, of course, did "Pirates of the Caribbean." He also made "Once Upon A Time In Mexico" in which he plays the character Sands. |
| Most recently Depp made "Secret Window" then immediately after in 2004 he made "Finding Neverland." In secret window Depp is a lunatic writer who is accused of plagiarism, but in finding neverland he plays the sweet hearted author of the original play of Peter Pan. |  |
