Hershey PA was founded by Milton Hershey, who is most famous for his chocolate.  His chocolate recipe was introduced in 1990, and was an immediate hit.  Back then, chocolate was only made in Switzerland, and only available to the rich.  But because of Milton Hershey’s dream, we can all get milk chocolate whenever we please.

Hershey Park is also known as the “sweetest place on earth”. It has 60 rides an attractions and 10 roller coasters.

The Great Bear is a dangle feet roller coaster, which means that you are sitting in a seat but your feet hang below you.  It can reach speeds up to 61 mph and its biggest drop is 124 feet.  It was installed in 1999.

The Roller Soaker is another dangle feet ride.  It can reach speeds up to 30 feet per second.  Count on getting wet though, because people can shoot water up at you from the ground! (But don’t worry, you have your own water guns to blast them with)

The Sidewinder can reach speeds up to 47 mph and has a maximum height of 105 feet.  It was installed in 1977
