Another elegant horse is the Arabian. In fact, they are known for their stamina, grace, intelligence, and find features. Arabs have elegant heads, slender limbs, and carry their tails high. All of these characteristics make the Arabians well known.

One of the world’s most well known work horses is the Clydesdale. It moves with great energy, strength, and power. Typically, Clydesdales are bay or brown colored with a white stripe down their face and white stockings to their knees. They are very large creatures.

Pintos, or Paint horses, are extremely noticeable due to their pretty colors. They can be a combination of white and any color in the equine rainbow. Pintos’ markings can be any size or shape. They make great jumpers, and are often seen at hunter and jumper shows.

Pony of the Americas, a somewhat new breed of horse, is small and spotted. Lots of different colors and patterns make them noticed everywhere. The Pony of the Americas are also versatile, and can be ridden Western of English style, or driven.
