In the history of music, many genres have come and go along with many names,  However, there is a good handful of names to be remembered forever.  They have come from all decades.  The 60's were the birth of rock and roll and the time where British pop ruled the music industry.  The 70's was where heavy metal and punk were born.  It was also a time where on Saturday nights, everyone had disco fever.  They 80's were more of a colorful time period.  However, the 80's were not only a time of big hair, short skirts, and legwarmers, the 80's too had many great artists.
