American Idiot is Green Day's lateset CD.  It came out in September 2005.  It sold over five million copies and has been on the music charts for many weeks.  With their songs Blvd. of Broken Dreams, American Idiot, and followed by Holiday.  The Album started with Mike making a 30 second song while waiting for Billie Joe and Tre.  When Billie Joe and Tre showed up at the recording studio Billie Joe added to the song.  American Idiot has two songs that are nine minutes long.  Each of the band members made small sections of the songs.  Which would later become Jesus of Suburbia and Homecoming.

Dookie is the most known record of Green Day it came out in 1994.  With it's most famous songs Basketcase and Longview selling over ten million copies.

Nimrod is another Green Day album.  Managing to land on #10 on billboard charts selling ove 80,000 copies.  With the songs Hitch a Ride and Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)

Some other albums are: 1,039, Kerplunk, Angus, Insomniac, Shenanigans, Warning, and International Super Hits.

Other songs are: Armatage Shanks, Brain Stew, GEek Stink Breath, When I Come Around, Welcome To Paradise, Macey's Day Parade, Jaded and Walking Contradiction.

They had an album called Cigarettes and Valentines but somone stole the album.  Luckily it didn't show up on th internet.  This was when American Idiot was formed.
