When Billie was young he would sing at hospitals to cheer up patients. He recorded his first song "Look For Love" at Frat Records when he was five years old. He received his first guitar, a blue Fernandez Stratocaster which he nicknamed "Blue" when he was eleven years old. |

| Billie has played in other bands aside from Green Day, such as, Pinhead Gunpowder, Blatz, Rancid, The Lookouts, Goodbye Harry, and Corrupted Morals. Billie Joe looked up to certain people that have gone through the music industry, not all of them are in the rock genre either. Believe it or not, Billie Joe greatly admired the famous rapper, Tupac Shakur, who grew up in the same area as the guys of Green Day. | ![]() |

Billie Joe was married to wife Adrienne Nesser in 1994. Then in March of 1995 his first son Joseph Marciano was born. Then in September of 1997 his second son, Jacob Danger was born. |
