Michael Phelps won eight medals in the Olympics. Six were gold, and two were bronze. He won the gold in the 300m IM, 200m IM, 100m Fly, 800m Free Relay, and the 400m medley relay.

Jenny Thompson won a silver in the 400m free and in the medley relays. Unfortunately, she decided to retire from swimming, and to finish medical school at the University of Columbia.

Amanda Beard won three medals in Athens. She won a gold in the 200m breast and silvers in the medley relay. She has been traveling, doing modeling, and is involved in defenders of wildlife. She plans to work hard and continue to be part of the Olympic Games in her future.

Ian Crocker won a gold medal in the 400m medley relay, silver in the 100m fly, and the American record holder in the 50, 100, and 200m butterfly.
