Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pens are the team in Pittsburgh.  Their first season was in 1967.  They weren't that good until they acquired Lemieux.  They won the Stanley Cup twice in '91 and '92. They had the best line in hockey with Jagr, Lemieux, and Stevens.  They scored most of the goals.  he Penguins were the best team in the early '90's.

Dallas Stars

The Stars are pretty good.  They have won the cup once in overtime.  They have made it to the finals many times though.  They have one star player, Mike Modano.  He is now the captain of the team but was always an assistant.  They are a great team.

Tampa Bay Lightning

The lightning is the team of today.  They won the Stanley Cup this year.  The only made the playoffs once before and that was in 1995.  They have many great young stars like Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lecavier, and many others.  They were pushed to a game 7 but still won.

Detroit Redwings

The Redwings are always trouble.  They have Yzerman, Hasek, and Lidstrom.  They have 8 Stanley Cups.  Yzerman is the captain and a great one at that.  They are the team of the '90's.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils are a great team.  They owe it all the their goalie, Martin Brodeur.  They have 1 cup from '95.  Their defense is one of the best ever.  They Devils are so good they always make the playoffs.

Colorado Avalanche

The Aves are one of the best teams ever.  They have one cups before because of all of their greats.  Forsberg, Sakic, Roy, just to name a few.  With all the amazing players, it is hard for them to lose.  The Avalanche are one of the best teams today.
