Mario Lemieux

		Mario is one of the greatest players of all time.  He was the captain of the Penguins when they won the Stanley Cup in 1991 and 1992.  He has retired once but came back for the love of the game.  He is number 66 and plays center.  He is the heart and soul f the Penguins.

Peter Forsberg

Forsberg is a rising young star.  He is in his mid twenties and has been to the all-star game almost every year of his career.  He is captain of the Avalanche.  He has won the Stanley Cup multiple times.  He is number 21 and plays center.

Joe Thornton

Joe is a coaches dream.  He is a big, young power forward.  This picture is when he played for team Canada.  He is now the captain of the Boston Bruins.  He has been to the all star game almost every year as well as play for his home country, team Canada.  Joe is a rising young star.

Jerome Iginla

Jerome is one of the best players in the NHL.  Although never winning the Stanley Cup, he made is to game 7 of the finals last year.  He is captain of the Calgary Flames.  He is also the first black captain.  He is number 12.

Ray Bourque

Ray is the best defenseman of all time.  He started his career with the Bruins for about 20 years.  He was traded his last year of playing to the Avalanche and won his first Stanley Cup.  He and his number, 77, are both retired.

Wayne Gretzky

Wayne is the best player of all time.  You can tell by his nickname, The Great One.  He has the most points in the NHL.  He has won the Stanley Cup many times.  He has also captained many teams.  He is retired now as well as his number, 99.
