These beautiful, golden-red Finnish Spitz is the National Dog of Finland. This breed of dog is also called, "King of the Barkers," for they have great barking abilities. The Finnish Spitz is renowned as a hunting dog. they also make great companions for family members of all ages. The Finnish Spitz mature very slowly because they only reach their adult form at three and a half to four years of age. The height range is fifteen to twenty inches, and the weight span is thirty-one pounds to thirty-five pounds. The Finnish Spitz also needs plenty of exercise. They learn things very quickly but require much obedience. The Finnish Spitz is brave friendly, lively and alert. |

Their owners greatly depended on these dogs for their hunting. These dogs live up to be twelve to twenty years old. Their height span is about two feet off the ground.
