The following resorts are all oceanfront condominiums that you rent out for a week in which when you are taking your vacation.  The Amber Waves is a stunning condo that features an outdoor, oceanfront deck with a pool.  

The Braemar offers an indoor/outdoor pool, an exercise room and a tennis court, completely renovated in July, 2005.  The Carousel is a gorgeous condo offering many amenities including indoor/outdoor pools, a game room, an exercise room, a restaurant, bar, and even an ice-skating rink. 

 

                                 Boardwalk          

Established in 1887 the Ocean City boardwalk is still full of fun and excitement.  It was recently named one of the "Top Seven American Boardwalks," by the Travel channel.  The boardwalk includes amusement parks such as Trimpers Rides, which has been there for over one hundred years.  You can go to Thrashers, who are famous for their vinegar soaked french fries, or ride their tram which is a train on the boardwalk.  This boardwalk also has the usual things such as bars, t-shirt shops, and lots of food.  There is also an Ocean Gallery.                 

 

Amusement Parks

 

Trimpers Rides was created in 1887 with family fun and excitement in mind.  They have over one hundred rides, games, and amusements for the for the entire family.  Restoring hand covered animals of every shape and size, the Hercshel-Spellman antique carousel  was newly restored in 1902.  Trimpers is one of the biggest, cleanest, and safest amusement parks in Maryland.  Come on up and enjoy Ocean City's tallest ferris wheel or get drenched on the Rock'n Rapids.  

You could also ride the Loopin coaster, Everybody's favorite.  At Jolly Roger the whole family can have fun with all the parks games, and rides.  Take a relaxing ride and view the scenery on the 1952 antique train.  Or ride the newest coaster to the beach, the Wild Mouse roller coater, for the less adventurous you can take a forty-five foot plunge on the new lighthouse drop tower. 

 

Restaurants

 

The Bayside Skillet has been at ocean city since1977.  Overlooking the bay this is a perfect place to go to whether with the whole family or for a romantic night out on the town.  Jumbo lump crab cakes, filet mignon, and a variety of fresh fish, chicken, and pasta is on the daily menu.  Nightly specials include the blackened ribs, Caribbean grilled shrimp and stuffed lobster.  If you would rather go to a less fancy restaurant you could visit Smokers Barbeque Pitt.  It has a selection ranging from boneless ribs to meatloaf, and from smoked tuna to a hot dog.  This is the perfect quick stop place to eat for a family with not much time on their hands.  It is also a good place for a budget conscientious person, with the highest price only being $5.95.

 

Shopping

 

With over thirty-five stores Goldcoast mall is the hottest shopping complex in Ocean City.  The mall even has four movie theaters inside it.  It also owns a 202 room resort which is connected to the mall.

 

Distance

 

Are you wondering how far away Ocean City is from Pennsylvania?  Ocean City Maryland is about a sevens away from Bethel Park, which is about 360 miles away.  Even though this may seem like it is a long time, it truly isn't as long as you keep yourself occupied.  SO make sure you bring games and if you have one a dvd player so you can watch movies to pass the time by.  Just keep thinking about the outcome which is the beautiful city of Ocean City, Maryland.
