The boardwalk at Myrtle Beach, now better known as the Grand Strand, has tons of exciting attractions. It was recently named one of the Top seven American Boardwalks, although twenty-five years ago the grand strand was nearly empty of things to do. Since then an enormous amount of stores, amusement parks, restaurants, and even theaters have been added to make the boardwalk as fun and exciting as it is today. A few main attractions are the Ripley's believe it or not, the aquarium, an Imax theater, and a two thousand seven hundred-seat musical theater named the Palace, the Myrtle Beach Pavilion, and the newest attraction, the new nine thousand square foot glass butterfly pavilion. |
