*Quarter Back- The QB starts out with the ball and throws it to a receiver.

*Half Back- The HB gets the ball from the QB through a hand off and then he runs the ball

Wide Receiver-The WR catches the ball whenever the QB throws it to them.

*Full Back-The FB is usually the blocker for the half back.

*Offensive Linemen- The linemen block the defense from tackling the QB.

 
  The goal of the offensive side is to run the ball into a rectangular end zone that is ten yards long and fifty yards wide. When you are on offense, there are many different types of plays that you can do during the drive. You can pass the ball, you can run the ball and you can do trick plays. An example of a trick play is when the quarterback gives the running back the ball and then he throws it to a wide receiver. An example of a trick play is when the quarterback gives the running back the ball and then he throws it to a wide receiver.These types of plays are only good if you don’t do them a lot. Also, while on offense, you only have four plays to make ten yards for a first down. If you don’t, you either have to punt, it is the opposing team’s ball wherever you are
