James Farrior

         Farrior is a starting linebacker for the Steelers this year. He is 6ft 2 inches and weighs 243 pounds. He went to Virginia University where he was ranked 3rd for all-time tackles with 381. This year is now his 8th year in the NFL. In 1999, he played in all 16 games with 4 starts, 38 tackles, and 2 sacks. In 2001, he finished with 181 tackles. In 2002, he made his Steelers debut as a starting inside linebacker.

 

                                                                                                                       

Joey Porter

Joey Porter is a starting linebacker for the Steelers in the 2004-2005 season. He is 6ft 3 inches and 250 pounds. This is his 6th year playing in the NFL. He went to college at Colorado State. He was drafted by the Steelers in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He tied Jason Gildon for the team lead in 2002 with 9 sacks. In 2003, he made his return to the field after being wounded by a gunshot. In 2003, he was selected to go to the Pro Bowl. Troy Polamalu

                    Polamalu is the starting strong safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is 5ft 1o inches and weighs 212 pounds. He went to college at Southern California. This is his 2nd year playing in the NFL. Polamalu joined the team as its number one draft pick in 2003. He led the team with 25 special teams tackles, 27 total tackles, counting special teams, and 14 solo tackles.

 

                                                                                                           

      

Chad Scott

                                                Scott is a cornerback for the Steelers. He is 6ft 1 inch and 202 pounds. Scott went to college at Maryland where he played 42 games with 31 starts, 60 tackles, 3 sacks, and 5 interceptions. This is his 7th year playing in the NFL. In 1997, he was the Steelers first round draft pick. On December 2nd of last year, he was placed on the injured list because he got surgery on his finger. Before he got injure, he ended with 51 tackles, 3 interceptions, and 8 passes defended.

 

                                                                                                                           

Kendrell Bell

          Bell is a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2004-2005 season. He is 6ft 1inch and weighs 257 pounds. Bell went to college at Georgia. He finished with 153 tackles, 7 sacks, 10 stops behind the line of scrimmage, and 5 forced fumbles. In 2001, he was selected the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, the 1st player to earn the award since Jack Lambert in 1974. Dick LeBeau

          Dick LeBeau is the defensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2004-2005 season. Back then, he was the teams Defensive Back coach and Defensive Coordinator.
