THE NFC
The NFC is made up of 16 different teams. Just like the AFC, there are four divisions. It has the north, south, east, and west divisions. There are many different good players and teams in the NFC.

DIVISIONS
In the north division, there are the Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Green Bay Packers. The Vikings were leading the division before star wide receiver Randy Moss got hurt and lost 4 straight games, then the Packers took over the lead. In the east in the division, there is the Eagles, Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys. The Eagles lead the division, that team is led by quarterback, Donovan Mcnabb, and wide receiver, Terrell Owens. The south division is made up of the Falcons, Panthers, Bucs, and Saints. The Falcons lead the division, that team is lead by Micheal Vick. And last but not least, the west division. This division consists of the Cardinals, the Rams, the Seahawks, and the 49ers. This division is a race between the Rams and Seahawks to the playoffs, both teams have a record around 500. |

HISTORIC NFC
There are so many historic players and teams in the NFC that is is hard to count. From Joe Montana and the rest of the 80's 49ers, to the 70's cowboys, led by Roger Staubach. Another great team and players in the historic NFC and are Dick Butkis and the Bears of the oldtime. The Cowboys of the 70's are believed to be the best football team ever, appeared in the Super Bowl 5 times. Playing the Steelers all four times, lost each one but 20 years later, the Cowboy dynasty really came into effect. They appeared in the Super Bowl four times, playing the Bills 3 times and the Steelers 1. They beat the Bills all four times and then beat the Steelers. This also could be one of the best teams ever. This team was lead by Troy Aikman, Emmit Smith, Micheal Irvin, and Kevin Brown, who intercepted a pass on a driving Steelers team, returning it to the Steelers six yard line, and ending the Steeler hopes of a super bowl victory. In the end, the final score was 27-17 with a Super Bowl victory by the Cowboys. This sent the Steelers into four straight losing seasons. The 80's 49ers are also a great team, this team was lead by Jerry Rice, and Joe Montana. |
