There are few benefits of genetically modified foods, but along with those benefits comes more risks.  Are they really worth the risks?  Genetically modified foods are said to taste better than organic foods.  The difference between genetically modified foods and organic foods is all of the bacteria and viruses in genetically modified foods.  Do really want your food to taste better because of that?  It’s like drinking a bottle of bleach.  Another benefit is that genetically modified foods take much less time to grow, therefore we get our food faster, because of this the crops are being turned over faster and there is a conservation of soil and energy, but there are risks to the environment because of genetically modified foods (see, “environmental concerns”).  One of the greatest benefits is that the food is to pests and disease but in turn you could end up the one with a disease.  So I ask you, are the benefits really worth the risks?
