territories bird is a complete loon, and their tree is an Eastern White
Pine. Their territory also has a flower, the White Trillium, and a gem, an
Amethyst. The capital of Ontario is Toronto, home of the Toronto Maple
Leaves. Ontario produces many automobiles and paper products, making these
their two largest industries.
Ontario's government government is a parliamentary system. It consists of one hundred and twenty five members, who are elected, and act as one large assembly. Citizens of Ontario also elect members into the House of Commons. The area of Ontario is four hundred and twelve thousand five hundred and eighty two square miles. |
