Assuming that you all know who Orlando Bloom is, I'll just jump right in.  Orlando, or Orly as he is often referred as, was born on January 13th, 1977 in Canterbury, England.  He also has brown eyes, brown curly hair, and is 5'11".  He has a two year old sister named Samantha too.  

          Technically, Orlando started his acting when he was 16.  He moved to London and joined the National Youthe Theatre for two years.  Then, he landed a scholarship at the British American Drama Academy.

          After that, he actually starred in the movie Wilde, but decided to put movies on hold and continue his training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

          Orlando is one crazy guy! Some of his wild hobbies are surfing, skydiving, skiing, and snowboarding. He also enjoys bungee jumping, paragliding, and photography. He says he'd probably do just about anything if it was dangerous!

          As I mentioned above, Orlando's acting debut was in the movie Wilde.  Since then, he has starred in such movies as The Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Troy.

         In the huge hit remake of the J.R.R Tolkien series, The Lord of the Rings, Orlando stars as the courageous elf, Legolas.  He played this character in all three movies of the trilogy.

          In Pirates of the Caribbean, Orlando is the brave Will Turner, who teams up with fellow actor, Johnny Depp, to battle pirates and save his love played by Keira Knightley.

          Hopefully we will be seeing many more of these awesome hit movies.
