Hilary Duff, famous music, television, and movie star, was born on September 28th, 1987, in Los Angeles, California.  She was also raised in Houston and San Antonio, Texas.  She currently spends her time going back and forth between L.A. and Houston to visit her mom, Susan, dad, Bob, and 19 year old sister, Hayley. 

          When Hilary started her career on the hit television show Lizzie McGuire, everyone absolutely loved her.  But people love her even more now as a musician.  Hilary describes her first hit album, Metamorphosis, as pop/rock.  Metamorphosis charted #2 on the Billboard charts it's first week of release.

          Also, her single "So Yesterday" was an instant #1 retail hit at Walmart.com, and hit the #1 spot on TRL's Top 40.  It also has become the #1 most-streamed video on AOL.

MOVIE AND TV CAREER

          Hilary decided to become an actress when she was touring with the Cechetti Ballet and went to some auditions.  She played Wendy in the movie Casper Meets Wendy.  Then, she landed the starring role in the major hit television series Lizzie McGuire.  Lizzie was an instant hit and they decided to make a Lizzie McGuire movie, which Hilary starred in of course.  She also appeared in Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper by the Dozen, Human Nature, and Disney TV movie Cadet Kelly.  Now she is co-starring with Chad Michael Murray in A Cinderella Story, and has a new movie Raise Your Voice out in theaters!
