The Binghamton Mets ate located in New York.  Its a very small town.  The airport is very small and about two- hundred feet long.    A lot of people will fly into Binghamton because there trying to see the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.  Some of them will even stop by and watch a game.  Binghamton is at the Double A level.  The Binghamton Mets draw a pretty good crowd.  The Binghamton Mets send guys to either the Tides, or if a player is really skilled to the big Mets.  The players usually come up from St. Lucie or one of the other rookie squads.  After a player gets drafted they usually go to all of the lower Mets teams.  The players usually have to work there way through the Mets organization.  There are bout seven teams in the system.  The players can skip teams if he's ready to play for the higher level. Not a lot of players skip double A.  Its very hard to go form Single A to triple A.  A lot of the players that play for Double A learn a lot from playing  here.  It prepares them for what ever level may be next for them.
