This would be Eric Wilson. He was the bassist for Sublime. Eric was born on February 21st, 1969 in Long Beach, California.  He has always loved music, even though he wasn't always seeking fame. He just wanted to be happy and music helped him achieve that. Him and Bud, who were friends ever since childhood, decided to start their own band. They did, but they new their vocalist wasnt going to take them all the way, lucky for them that all changed when they met Brad.

The first band he was in, along with Bud, was call the ' Long Beach dub all-stars'. It was of course his first band, but as said before he was aware that the bands lead singer didn't have what it took to take them all the way. So while still in the 'Long Beach Dub All-stars' A friend of Bud, Eric and Brad introduced Bud and Eric to Brad. They hit it off and had tons in common. It worked out perfectly and they quit the 'Long Beach Dub all-stars' to join Sublime.

Fortunately Eric never suffered with the ruff addictions of drugs like Brad and Bud did. He smoked and was a big drinker and whatnot but he never had the harsh addiction of heroin or cocaine like the others. Sometimes he would get fed up with Brad and Bud's behavior during studio time. Sometimes they wouldn't even show up and Eric felt it made them look bad and would effect their music. Because Brad died before they reached their true success, they didn't have much money (especially because they spent it most of it on booze and drugs), so everytime they would waste studio time is would be a problem.

Eric never got married, nor did he have any kids. He said that he thought of Bud and Brad as his family and didn't feel a gap in his life from not having children or a wife. He lived for Sublime. After Brads death he returned to the 'Long Beach Dub all-stars' with Bud and they released a CD in 1999.
