This is Bud Gaugh, born October 10th 1967 on long beach. He was the drummer for Sublime. He also grew up on the beach in California. His first band was called 'helpless conditions' which he claims is a bad band name now that he looks back to it. Then he was in the Long Beach Dub Allstars along with Eric. That ended quickly and then he was introduced to Brad and to his surprise they immediately clicked with Brad.  From then on he knew this was his band and that it was his way to make a living. 

         `              Bud used to be a heroin addict, along with smoking and drinking all the time with his buddies and fellow band mates. Surprisingly he often tried to help Brad out with his problem. He was concerned because brads addiction was affecting his band mates and interrupting with recording and what not. He figured his addiction wasn't a problem so instead of himself, he often tried to get Brad into rehab.  So when brad was really bad he tried to talk him into it. This never made him dislike Brad but it was obvious that he wanted him to get better. He quit all drug use after Brads death because he saw that if he ever got as bad as Brad he could die.

                                       Unfortunately, Bud never got married or had any kids. He lived for and loved his music and band mates. They were like his family, and he focused mainly on being a drummer. Bud never wrote any of the songs though, that was mostly up to Brad. He also used to be a golfer for about 6 or 7 years. His real name isn't bud either, its actually Floyd. 

                                         After Brads death, Bud, along with Eric, went back to the Long Beach Dub Allstars. They stayed in that band with a new vocalist for awhile. They released a CD called 'Right Back' in 1999. The latest news is that Buds new project is Eyes Adrift.
