| Biography
Rubedo, Jr., and Little Master: all are names of this boy. Although, his appearance can be quite deceiving, considering he's in his twenties. His name is Latin for "The Reddening," which is rather appropriate considering his hair. He is on of the Yuriev clones, clones made from a man known as Dr. Yuriev and were made without a body. They were created using just the egg, no "fertilizer." There were approximately 668 or 669 clones. I forget, but each clone has a number on his or her (Yes, her, it is possible for a clone of a man to be female) hand. As said on the home page, they love throwing religion around a lot in Xenosaga. Hence why Rubedo's number is 666. The final four clones of the 600+ Yuriev clones were given special powers and names. Rubedo, the Reddening, was given the power to alter time to a certain extent. Albedo, the Whitening, was given the power to regenerate lost body parts. Nigredo, the Blackening, was given the power to of being able to convince someone of anything. May seem like a useless ability, but when you have the ability to persuade Bill Gates that he should give you all of his money, you know that it's a good ability. Heck, that might be why he's so rich, among other things. The last and final clone isn't really known yet, however. |

| Origin
So far, all we know about Rubedo besides having been a clone of Dr. Yuriev, saving Nigredo's life as a child by using his powers (Which inadvertently caused him to be stuck in the body of a child), and having killed many of his "infected" siblings during the Miltian Conflict, we don't know much else. |

Of course, Albedo who was unstable as a child (Unstable in this case meaning that he was going insane, and the infection of the U-DO virus was the last of it that pushed him over the edge), caused Rubedo quite a bit of trauma. He blamed Rubedo for nearly everything bad in his life, along with trying to kill Rubedo. Al has his reasons, so he isn't truly evil per say, but he is insane. Very insane. |

Also, Rubedo and his brother, Gaignun, or Nigredo, after the Miltian Conflict, started a business of sorts: The Kukai Foundation. They made a bunch of money and took in all sorts of people from the infamous life-recycling act. The life-recycling act was a time when bodies of humans would be "recycled" and then "reborn" as "super humans" for war purposes. The clones were one of the people involved, along with Andrew Cherenkov, who went through numerous amounts of personality reconditioning until he went crazy and killed many people. Andrew himself was made a "super soldier," and could do literally nothing but be a soldier, which is why he longed for death. |

Kukai Foundation Rubedo and his crew aboard the Kukai Foundation's own "flagship," the Durandal, saved the Elsa and it's crew from the gnosis, Cathedral Ship (Named so due to it's size). Not long afterwards did Rubedo meet with the Elsa's crew and introduced himself to the new members. Then they docked in the Kukai Foundation, a space colony that houses many different kinds of people. |

Rubedo has an interesting story. He seems to have had trauma in his life, is stuck in the body of his 14 year-old self, and is in love with a synthetic human who's only 14 in looks. What a rough life, poor kid. He seems to love guns, though, and seems to like shooting off Albedo's head. Thanks to Albedo's ability though, he just grows another one. "Wheat, eh? There's enough of it, we can afford to waste as much as we want. Like my head, you see?"-Albedo |

Yuriev Clones |
||
|
The Yuriev clones, as stated earlier, were made not from birth, but from a single egg. There were over 600 of these clones, the last 4 given special powers. Albedo, who loves to creep people out with his special ability, has a sort of...obsession...with certain people. At first, it was MOMO for she contained special information known as the Y Data. Then he started to go after Rubedo because they have a natural rivalry and Rubedo hates Albedo, and vice versa. |
