Dick Lebeau |

Lebeau, considered the architect of the Steelers zone blitz, returned as the Steelers defensive coordinator in 2004. This is his thirty-second year of coaching in the NFL after spending fourteen years as a player. As a player, he holds the NFL record for consecutive starts as a cornerback with 171. Then, between 1995 and 1997 he was the Steelers defensive coordinator. HE then left to take the head coach job at Cincinnati, where he was eventually replaced by former Steelers defensive coordinator Marvin Lewis.

Ken Whisenhunt |
| Ken is in his first season as the Steelers offensive coordinator. He spent the last three seasons as the Steelers tight ends coach. He took Mike Mularkey’s place when he was promoted to offensive coordinator. Whisenhunt, 41, began his coaching career in college with Vanderbilt as the Special Teams and tight ends coach. In 1996, he coached Bill Marinangel, who led all Division I punters with an average of 46.6 yards per punt. |

Russ Grimm |
| Russ is in his fourth season as offensive line coach. Grimm has one of the best offensive fronts in the league with Alan Faneca (an all- Pro since 2000), and Jeff Hartings, the former Penn State standout that has grown into one of the best centers in the league. Grimm, an All-American Center himself, has been inducted into the Western Pennsylvania Hall of Fame. |

Darren Perry, a standout safety in the 90's, returned to the Steelers as assistant defensive backs coach in 2003. In 2004, he was promoted to Defensive backs coach. Perry, an eighth round draft choice in 1992 played 9 seasons in the NFL with the Steelers, |

Dick Hoak |

Dick Hoak, The longest tenured coach in Steelers history, is in his forty-third year with the Steelers and thirty-third in assistant coach. HE has been the running backs coach since 1972. The former Steelers running back, drafted in the seventh round out of Penn State, lead the team in rushing three times and was an All Pro in 1969. Hoak graduated From Penn State in 1961. As a senior, he was the Lions MVP. |
