Ever since Em's first hit
song, "The Real Slim Shady", every song Em has released has been
a chart topper. Through his lyrics, he speaks his mind. He causes controversial
arguments. He speaks his mind through his explicit language. That's how he
gets his feeling out. |

In his song "The Real
Slim Shady", he made fun of everyone and everything. He even dressed
up as Britney Spears in the video. He was sued by his Mom, because he made
fun of her in the song. His Mom won, but Shady just came back and made
more hits. |

After he carried out the law
suit, he came back with the song ,"Without Me". It was
describing to the people how much he missed being in the game .It caused
as much controversy as "The Real Slim Shady" did. Dr. Dre was
featured in the song, also. He was lucky though, and didn't get sued. |

Through the year, Em has
always expressed his feelings through his music, but lately Eminem seems
to be calming down a little bit. He doesn't push at people as much as he
used to. He's calmed the swearing down to a minimum. More and more of his
songs have been a tribute to Hailie. |

After almost losing his
daughter, Em tamed down a couple tones. Songs for his daughter are,
"Mockingbird", Bonnie and Clyde", and a couple of others.
He also wrote a song about how the violence in music has gone to a whole
other level and needs to stop. The name of the song is "Like Toy
Soldiers". |
