Mario
Lemieux was born on October fifth nineteen sixty-five in Montreal
Canada. His parents,
Jean-Guy and Pierrette Lemieux lived in a working section of the city.
Jean-Guy was a construction worker.
While Pierrette stayed at home and took care have Mario and his
two brothers, Alian and Richard. Mario
and his family was French Canadian like most of the population in
Montreal. Mario spoke
French and did not learn English until he made the Penguins.
Mario was like most of the children in Canada, to have the dream
to play in NHL, but unlike most of the children Mario did not only dream
about achieving this goals he accomplished it.

Mario Lemieux has set many records in his time in the NHL.
HE was on the NHL All Team #1 squad four times, in eighty-eight
eighty-nine ninety-three and in ninety-six.
He also won the Art Ross Trophy six times, Lemieux averages at
least one goal a game every year that he won the Art Ross Trophy.
Lemieux also was named Rookie Of The Year in eighty-five the year
after Gertzky.

Mario Lemieux won two Stanley Cup throughout his entire career so far.
They came in back to back years in ninety and ninety one. Mario
was the MVP both of these series. The Penguins had a great team
again in ninety two but did not make it to the Stanley Cup, coming up
just short losing in the Eastern Conference championship game to the
Philadelphia Flyers who went on to win the Stanley Cup.
