Jaromir Jagr was the first European to make it the the NHL since nineteen seventy nine.  He was born February fifteenth in Kledro Czechoslovakia.  At age eighteen he was the youngest player to ever play in the National Hockey League.  He is still playing for the New York Rangers.  His father and friends all told him that it could not be done but that did not stop Jaromir from living his dream.     

       Jaromir Jagr in his young career is on his way to be one of the best hockey players of all time.  He has set a lot of records threw his short lifetime in the NHL already.  Some people say that he will demolish some of Lemiuex's records.  When he was on the Pittsburgh Penguins Lemiuex and Jaromir Jagr dominated the league.

Jagr won the Stanley Cup two times with the same team the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Neither time he was the MVP but contributed to his team drastically.  He had sxteen goals in twelve games.    

       Even thought Jagr has not been in the league many years he has already played on three different teams because of his enormous salary.  He has already played for the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team he was drafted to, the Washington Capitols, and the New York Rangers.  Hopefully one day Jaromir will come back and play for the Penguins again.
